Alejandro took his experiences from West Texas A&M University back home where he played independently for a few short years before landing his first professional performance break at Louie Louie’s Dueling Piano Bar. He did not know how to play when he signed on, but he worked relentlessly to be able to hold his own.

Playing for live audiences night after night was indescribable, but Alejandro soon found he missed the Musical Theatre tools he had set down for Dueling Piano. Now with a new instrument in his arsenal, he stepped back into the world of song and dance with an ensemble role in The Wallace Theatre’s inaugural musical production of Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street in Levelland, Texas.

Since then, Alejandro has been apart of dozens of live theatre productions. Some of his favorites include the role of Clopin in Victor Hugo’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Fred Casely in Chicago, and even lent his guitar skills to the character Roger Davis in Jonathan Larson’s RENT, with many, many more to come!

All the while, Alejandro has taken to teaching music to help students of all ages ignite their passions. Most recently, Alejandro was an instructor at InterActive Music Studio in Lubbock, Texas. It has been an invaluable experience to see new generations of musicians doing what they do best!
